On Screen Style Icons – April’s Thrifty Six

I really struggled with this month’s theme – probably because I don’t watch many films. Grace chose the prompt of On Screen Style Icons, which left me completely baffled. Maybe I over thought it (no maybe about it!). My first idea was Carrie Bradshaw, but none of my outfit choices for her were preloved. Then, while I was searching for inspiration online, I kept seeing images of Madonna in Desperately Seeking Susan. This vintage cropped jacket has been hanging on my wall as decoration and it seemed like a good likeness to the one Madonna wore in the film. So I grabbed it, along with these second hand Zara harem pants as the starting point to recreate...
