The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Pink
October is International Breast Cancer Awareness Month so we decided to feature our favorite (or least favorite) wardrobe pieces in shades of Pink. The pink ribbon is the internationally recognized symbol of support for people with breast cancer. It was first adopted by the Susan G. Komen Foundation in 1991 as a way to raise awareness and promote early detection of the disease. If you are a woman of a certain age, annual breast exams are recommended. I am currently playing phone tag with my local women’s wellness center to schedule my mammogram.
