I’ve never subscribed to the idea that sequins and all things sparkly should be restricted to the festive season. To me, that would mean too many lost opportunites to wear clothes that spark joy. And while dreary winter days do certainly call for bright and reflective surfaces to maximise the light, they look magnificent in the sunshine too. So when Jane chose the theme of Summer Sparkle for this month’s Thrifty Six theme, my only concern was how not to overheat!
