Plums and Aubergines

Things have been a bit fraught this week- mainly due to stressful experiences playing the piccolo. It's stressful enough playing the piccolo- everyone can absolutely bloomin' 100% hear every single note. It hurts your ears to play such high pitched sounds. It's quite high pressure and hard work. When the conductor then makes you play a really high, fast, screechy and loud part by yourself at least seven times with the whole orchestra listening in pain (as it's so high)- it does not do much for one's confidence, let alone making it sound any better. The concert is Sunday. I will survive it. Anyway, I thought I'd share this beautiful dress I bought in...
