Style imitating Art: Vogue by the sea It's been an absolute age since I have taken part in Style Imitating Art but I saw Salazar's post today and realise what I was wearing could sort of be an interpretation of this poster. It's an image by illustrator, Helen Dryden for Vogue from July the 1st, 1919. Anywhere, here's my outfit: As it's a little loose an interpretation, let me talk you through it. A nod to the turban is my white floral headband which I tucked my hair into to emulate the turban. The pink Rene Derhy silk scarf with its pretty florals is a nod to the scarf held by the woman. My Tatty Devine necklace is the same colours as the shell on the beach. ...
